BEFORE YOUR SPRAY TAN
Exfoliation & Shaving
-
Exfoliate and shave at least 24 hours before your spray tan.
-
You may exfoliate up to 5 hours before, but avoid using soaps, body washes, or shaving creams.
-
Use a tanning mitt for best results.
Beauty Services
-
Complete all beauty services — nails, waxing, brows, lash extensions, and hair removal — 24–48 hoursbefore your tan to avoid interference with the solution.
Hydration
-
Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water and moisturizing daily in the days leading up to your appointment.
-
Well-hydrated skin holds a tan longer and more evenly.

AFTER-CARE
POST-TAN CARE INSTRUCTIONS

While Your Tan Develops
-
Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing.
-
Avoid bras, tight leggings, or silk/satin fabrics that may rub and cause unevenness.
-
Your tan will continue to deepen over the next 24 hours.
-
The longer you wait before rinsing, the darker your tan will develop.
-
Avoid touching your skin until your tan is fully rinsed.

First Rinse (Lukewarm Water Only)
-
Rinse with lukewarm water only — no soap, no scrubbing.
-
Keep the rinse quick: about 45–60 seconds, until the water runs clear.
-
Gently pat your skin dry.
-
If your tan looks uneven after rinsing, don’t worry. Step back into the shower for another quick rinse. This usually evens out the colour and removes leftover bronzer

Aftercare for a Long-Lasting Tan
-
Moisturize daily with a tan-safe, fragrance-free lotion (avoid Dove and heavily fragranced products).
-
Avoid chlorine, saunas, hot tubs, and salt water, as they can shorten the life of your tan.
-
Skip oils, scrubs, and long hot baths, which will fade your tan faster.
-
Pat your skin dry—don’t rub.
-
Avoid soap and hot showers for the first 12 hours.
